Every Local People candidate must make these commitments.

Sponsors and local team

We aim for each applicant to identify at least 20 potential local sponsors before nomination. The formal nomination paper requires 10 valid registered electors. Sponsor and supporter details will be collected securely through individual invitation links after initial review.

Fees and fundraising

There is a £500 election deposit. Campaigning also involves design, print, postage, travel, administration and other costs. Local People wants to help strong local candidates overcome this barrier.
